Well hello there. Again. Okay, so it’s not exactly 45 minutes– but stick with the concept and we can get get you way more bang for your buck. We’re gonna switch it up here a little and teach you how to optimise your 15, 30 and 60 minute booking slots and help your clients get the most out of your services. Here are some formats to get you started:

We’re talking ratios here, of course! For every 30 minutes your clients book, you could suggest 15 minutes for a consultation meeting, and 15 minutes for a follow up appointment either side, to check in and make sure they’re happy. Or try 30 minute slots bookending each 60 minute appointment. It buys them time to fill in forms before and after an appointment and consult on a net course of treatment if you’re a healthcare professional. Or for you personal trainers out there, it allows you to gauge your client’s fitness for the first 30 minutes, workout for a 60 minute HIIT session, and write up a bespoke fitness plan in the next 30! No sweat, no rush. Just proper, quality time for you both to maximise your session. You don’t have to do it all in one go either! Take it easy and work on your terms.

When your clients book two of your 30 minute appointment slots, why not offer them a 15 minute slot free? Whether it’s a consultation, briefing, extended personal greeting, or you’re using it to put together a how-to for some of your bespoke products or services, it’s nice to be rewarded! No need for a pesky loyalty card system (you’re here to make your life easier, not harder, after all); just scroll back through your calendar to track their previous bookings.

No, not the diet! But you’re on the right track– For every series of long session your clients book, try switching it up. For example, if you’re a tutor, you could try supplementing your longer bookings with a fun 15 minute pop quiz, fortnightly– just a quick round of pub style trivia to keep ’em on their toes, or a check in to clarify any questions. Keep up the dynamism and build in nice surprises for your clients.

If you liked that, why not see the other blogs in this series? See what you could do in 30 minutes and in 15 minutes.
