How To Resolve Google Calendar Invitations Unknown Sender Emails

Google may show calendar invitations as coming from an unknown sender when it cannot fully trust the sender, domain or connected calendar permission path.

Things to check

  • Reconnect Google Calendar in CatchApp so permissions are refreshed.
  • Confirm the correct Google account is connected.
  • Check that calendar invites are being created on your own calendar rather than an old or shared calendar.
  • Ask attendees to mark the sender as trusted if their Google settings are strict.
  • Check whether your domain has SPF, DKIM and DMARC configured if emails are sent from a custom domain.

If it continues

Disconnect Google Calendar, clear any old CatchApp app permission from your Google account security settings, then reconnect the integration and create a fresh test booking.
