How Do I Choose When My Event Types Are Available And How Do I Set Their Duration

Availability controls when people can book. Duration controls how long each appointment lasts. Set both inside each event type so every booking link behaves exactly how you expect.

Set availability and duration

1. Open CatchApp Bookings.
2. Go to Event Types.
3. Select the event type you want to edit.
4. Set the appointment duration, such as 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes.
5. Choose the days and times this event type should be bookable.
6. Add buffers or limits if needed.
7. Save and test the public booking page.

Tips

• Use shorter durations for quick discovery or support calls.
• Use longer durations for onboarding, demos or consultations.
• Add buffer time if meetings often overrun.
• Keep your connected calendar up to date because busy events should block availability.
